Crew and Kit Needed for 3 Days of Commercial Shooting in Yin Chuan, China Hybrid Project

Project Overview

We are currently organizing a two-day branded content shoot for Condé Nast, in partnership with Lexus, under the global campaign “Journey in Taste.” The shoot will take place at Silver Heights Winery, a renowned boutique estate in Yinchuan, Ningxia, and will highlight the intersection of craftsmanship, heritage, and lifestyle travel.

While the core of the story unfolds in the vineyard and cellar, we are also planning dynamic vehicle sequences in the surrounding mountain roads and more rugged, rafty terrain nearby. These scenes are critical to capturing Lexus’s spirit of exploration and precision.

Key Production Requirements

We are currently looking to confirm crew and equipment availability in the Yinchuan region (or with travel support from Beijing/Shanghai), and invite expressions of interest for the following roles and rentals:

Crew Roles Required (local/China-based)

• Location Manager – to assist with permits, logistics, and local coordination

• Production Assistant(s) – on-site support for logistics and crew movement

• Interpreter – bilingual (Mandarin–English) for crew communication and interviews

• Camera Assistants / ACs

• Gaffer & Lighting Crew

• Sound Recordist – field audio capture for interviews and ambient sound

• Drone Operator – licensed and experienced with aerials in scenic/restricted zones

• Tracking Vehicle Driver / Tech – with rigging experience

• Precision Driver – for driving scenes on winding or rugged roads

• Stunt Double (driver) – for specialty vehicle shots requiring control on terrain

Equipment Needs

• Tracking Vehicle Rig – for dynamic vineyard and mountain road car shots

• Stabilized Camera System – Ronin 2 / Movi Pro or similar

• Lighting Kit – suitable for cellar interiors and controlled golden-hour exteriors

• Audio Kit – boom, wireless lavs, portable mixer/recorder

• Drone Package – 4K/6K (DJI Inspire/Phantom/FPV optional), with permit support

• Secondary Camera Package – (FX6 / FX3 / Canon C-series or similar)

Location Notes

• Primary location: Silver Heights Winery, approx. 1 hour from Yinchuan city center

• Additional filming in surrounding mountain and riverbed areas for Lexus vehicle coverage

• Permits for drone and vehicle filming are in progress

• Transport, accommodation, and per diems will be provided for confirmed crew

• Production will include a mix of editorial portraiture, branded lifestyle scenes, and automotive motion shots
