Project Overview
We are organizing a multi-day video and photo shoot on behalf of a UK-based production company, following a Rolex Enterprise Award Laureate’s conservation work at the Annaba Wild Camel Protection Center in Gansu Province, China.
The shoot includes three days in Gansu, documenting the laureate’s fieldwork in the desert, where he collaborates with the local team to track and protect wild Bactrian camels using modern technology. Both video and lifestyle photography teams will be on-site to capture dynamic and still content highlighting his mission. A key visual goal is to film and photograph the laureate observing the camels in their natural habitat—though this may be logistically challenging due to the animals’ sensitivity to human presence.
Beyond the field shoot, two additional filming days are planned in Beijing:
One day in a professional studio to film a sit-down interview with the laureate in a controlled setting.
One day at the laureate’s office to capture B-roll footage and photographic coverage of his research and working environment.
