Fixer needed in Thailand Hybrid Project

Position: Local Producer (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

We are a low-budget independent feature film project seeking a passionate local producer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for film enthusiasts interested in our unique story and familiar with the filming environment in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Film Details

• Title: Intimacy (Working Title)
• Logline: Two women at different stages of life meet in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Realizing they are each other's salvation from their personal struggles, they fall in love.
• Genre: Romance, LGBTQ+, Art-house
• Languages: Mandarin, Thai, English (with English subtitles)
• Distribution Plan: Submission to international film festivals, global theatrical release, and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

Pre-production phase:

• Assist the director with location scouting and initial identification of filming venues.

Production preparation phase (upon funding completion):

• Familiarize yourself with local filming policies.
• Connect and manage local resources.
• Arrange and support crew logistics.
• Handle permits and other location-related procedures.

Scene Requirements

Locations such as temples, markets, and street scenes.

Scouting Dates: December 30, 2024 – January 2, 2025

Compensation

• Pre-production Phase: No salary available at this stage due to the current financing status. Necessary accommodations, meals, and transportation will be provided. Remote discussions are also an option if travel to Chiang Mai is not feasible.
• Post-financing Phase: A formal contract will be signed with full compensation for the production phase.

Preferred Qualifications

• Based in Thailand (Chiang Mai preferred).
• Passionate about filmmaking and interested in the project’s themes.
• Familiar with Chiang Mai’s filming environment and regulations.

薪酬说明

• 前期筹备阶段：因尚处融资阶段，暂无法提供薪酬，但会提供必要的食宿和交通补贴。如无法亲自前往清迈，也可通过电话远程交流。
• 融资完成后：双方将签署正式合同，进入正式合作并提供薪酬。
