About Me
Malik Doll is a Shanghai-based French director and cinematographer.
In his twenties, he began his career as a camera operator and post-producer for French television channel M6/W9.
He grew up in a musical household and began directing music videos when he was 21 years old for labels such as Universal Music, Warner Music, and Season of Mist. To produce impassioned visuals, he merges the visual medium with his musical background. With each project, he perfects and improves his visual styles, storytelling, and concepts.
He consistently works with a strong sense of camera language, light intention, colors, and cinematic style. The human tale is at the heart of his languages, and narrating is his ultimate purpose. He believes that good photos should speak for themselves.
He has shot and direct for brands such Mercedes-Benz, BMW, SuperSoco, Nike (Jordan) Coach NY, Fendi, K-Boxing, Qeelin, Waldorf Astoria, Hyatt and many more. He also collaborated on fashion films with Brunello Cucinelli, Ines de la Fressange, Shawn You, Tim Yip, Yang Lan, Liu Wen and Sophia Webster.
