About Me
Peter is a cameraman, photographer, and video editor with 21 years’ experience, and is well known as a journalist and story gatherer in South Sudan.
Peter brings experience from freelance work with international agencies including Aljazeera English & Arabic, and Agence France - Presse (AFP), also has insight into the NGO world from his work in communications and content production with the World Food Programme (WFP).
Since earning his degree in Development Communication, and a Diploma in Communication and Public Relations, from the University of Juba, Peter has followed his passion to work across journalism, youth empowerment, freedom of expression, and press freedom in South Sudan. This has included working closely with the Government.
He has helped improve journalistic standards in South Sudan and trained many camera operators working with South Sudan TV and Ebony TV.
