About Me

S*m*n*h*n- a journalist with almost 17 years of experience, working with Voice of America as a Multimedia Producer. She was attached to Samaa TV, as a Correspondent from Jan 2011 to Aug 2018. Starting her career as an interviewer with UNODC in 2006, she has an experience in sub-editing & anchoring respectively with The Sun Newspaper and Star Asia.

Ms. Khan delivered in reporting, investigative research, and package production during her stay in Dunya Tv from 2007 to 2010. Along the way, she produced many stories on education, health, environment, economy, law enforcement system, and politics.

S*m*n*h*n is an Alumni of the US-Pakistan Journalist Exchange program and interned in an American channel 9news. Many national & International awards are on her credit. She has Participated in International Media Conference held in Phillipine, 2024. Khan is also an alumnus of East-West Centre's program for Cross Border Reporting. She attended a Digital Reporting Fellowship on Climate Change held in Nepal in May 2022. Khan is also a fellow of the National Press Foundation for their Trade Conference held in Singapore in July 2022. She also won a grant for a climate change story from ICIMOD & Grid-Arendal and produced many stories from Hindukush Region in September 2022.
