About Me

I'm an English fixer and producer. I've lived in Rio De Janeiro for 15 years, working in international TV production. I've produced content for major international broadcasters all over Brazil, including the Amazon, Bahia and Rio. I'm focussed, resourceful and highly efficient. I also work hard to ensure that I create a successful and enjoyable shoot for my clients. As well as making sure you enjoy Brazil and all its riches.

I've produced/fixed for the BBC, ITV, Discovery US, ZDF, RAI, UNILEVER, Samsung, DAZN, Gates Foundation etc. I have also freelanced for Chinese channel CGTN for the last 12 years, producing factual content and coordinating their coverage of Rio 2016 Olympics. I've worked on many award-winning productions - and we recently won Brazil's top award for the best documentary of 2024.

In Brazil I field produce or fix on  documentaries, reality, commercials and branded content. My career in the UK, before I came to Brazil, was as a D.O.P. and I shot many award-winning drama series and documentaries. We won an EMMY, BAFTAs and other awards.

I have a wide network of contacts all over Brazil - including academics, experts, local fixers and English-speaking crew. And contacts within several Indigenous tribes. I also have an intimate knowledge of Brazilian culture, anthropology and environmental issues. Through my Brazilian production company, we can organise all necessary filming and legal permissions.

I've recently produced 2 feature documentaries in the Amazon. The award-winning cinema documentary "Eating Our Way To Extinction", narrated by Kate Winslet. And TV documentary "Brazil: Jungle Battlegrounds". (See my portfolio)
