A*y*r*g*t is a CSA-nominated producer, casting director, and choreographer, celebrated as one of North America’s most sought-after and respected talents since her professional debut in 1995. Her extensive body of work encompasses feature films, made-for-TV movies, television series, reality TV, stage musicals—including Canada’s prestigious Shaw Festival—and over 85 commercials.

Among Amy's standout projects is The Next Step, a television series that has captivated audiences worldwide across ten seasons and more than 265 episodes. Since its inception, she has been an integral force as a producer, series choreographer, and casting director, skillfully coordinating over 600 unique dance moments. Her creativity has been instrumental in crafting premier performances, including sold-out live world tours and The Next Step Live: The Movie, which has garnered over 3.5 million views on YouTube.

Amy’s recent television credits reflect her versatility and innovation, with choreography and dancer casting for hit shows such as The Boys and Gen V (Amazon Prime), What We Do in the Shadows (FX/Disney+), The Umbrella Academy(Netflix), and the beloved Blues Clues and You (Nickelodeon). Looking ahead, audiences can anticipate her work in the highly anticipated series Welcome to Derry, a prequel to the IT films featuring Bill Skarsgård as the iconic Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

Over the years, Amy has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Drew Barrymore, Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman, Taika Waititi, Jensen Ackles, Ian McShane, Jason Priestly, Rachel McAdams, Will Ferrell, Colin Farrell, Molly Shannon, Hilary Duff, and LeAnn Rimes. She has also choreographed for eleven Academy Award winners and nominees, including Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson, Sissy Spacek, Richard Dreyfuss, Peter O’Toole, Joan Plowright, Jeremy Irons, Virginia Madsen, Helen Mirren, Elliott Page, and Jessica Lange.

Always on the lookout for emerging talent, Amy has cast hundreds of dancers for a variety of projects, most notably Disney Zombies 3, The Next Step, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and its spin-off show Spellbound. Her passion for nurturing dancers' success is unmatched. With a focus on performances for young audiences, she teaches and adjudicates internationally, utilizing a highly regarded teaching method that seamlessly blends acting and dance techniques.
