About Me

After completing a brief training period as an Assistant Director and Casting Assistant, I embarked on my freelance career and established Studio t in 1985. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the evolution of the casting profession, both within Italy and on the international stage. This journey has cultivated a genuine passion for mastering the multifaceted aspects of this captivating profession.

My expertise ranges from engaging A-list actors in projects to discovering and nurturing emerging talent, encompassing street casting to casting for major international co-productions. I have been actively supporting novice directors casting for their inaugural films and contributing to casting endeavors for significant advertising campaigns.

Fueling my dedication to the casting director profession, I authored the book "The Casting Director’s Craft," published by Lupetti in 2020.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed directors such as Martin Scorsese, Manuel de Oliveira, Lasse Hallstrom, Ridley Scott, Ben Stiller, David Garth, Oliver Hirschbiegel, Ildiko Enyedi, Jessica Woodworth, and Liliana Cavani.

I am honored to be a member of UICD, CSA, and ICDN’s Board of Directors, in addition to affiliations with the Italian Film Academy and the European Film Academy.

Fluent in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian, I am readily available for communication in any of these languages. Our Studio is fully equipped with all the amenities necessary to ensure a seamless casting experience.
