About Me

Luiza Schulz Vazquez is a brazilian and german composer with a focus on the influences of contemporaneous circuits of music and art. Her education and professional experience were in Europe and Latin America, in various venues such as MuBE SP (BR), Ars Electronica (AT) and many other festivals e.g.: São Paulo Fashion Week (BR), Stream Festival (AT) and Festival Novas Frequências (BR). She seeks to understand the behavior and nature of sound and music in science and the art of composition on projects in cooperation with various fields, such as the Fact Magazine (UK). Her work with choreographers and dramaturges has been shown in stages such as the Landestheater NÖ, Salzkammergut Festwochen in Austria and others: Grand Teatr Warsawa (PL), Alte Schmiede (AT), Pathos Atelier (DE) and Dansand! - KAAP (BE). Her contributions to associations: The AWFC, ensembles: Camerata Laranjeiras (BR) and numerous conferences, e.g.: Rio2C (BR), The Acousmatic Project (AT), revision.io Berlin (DE) and The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, Film Scoring workshop at the Steinhardt NYU (US).
