I am a passionate journalist and producer, with a deep and unwavering commitment to storytelling. I believe in the power of sharing human stories that inspire reflection and action. I have a critical eye for finding stories with original angles and strong visual power, contributing to understanding our changing world. I am especially interested in exploring political and social conflicts through the female perspective.
I am part of the team of international journalists who produced the 3Cat series “Point of No Return,” directed by Raúl Gallego Abellán, winner of the International Emmy Award for best short documentary series. This work is an excellent example of how to marry great storytelling with quality journalism to capture the interest of the audience.
My professional career has led me to collaborate with major media outlets such as Euronews, Bloomberg, BBC, and CNN. I work in a production company, developing ideas and documentary projects that these esteemed platforms have well received.
Over the last two decades, I have delved into various political and social conflicts, mainly in Europe. Although my career has been mainly in a news agency, I have also directed multimedia projects and appeared on camera for leading Spanish-language networks such as Telemundo.
My freelance reporting includes coverage of the first months of the war in Ukraine, a work recognized with an Emmy award. I have also done numerous reports on the humanitarian situation of migrants and refugees arriving at Europe's borders, giving me an in-depth understanding of these crises.
In October 2019, I provided extensive coverage of the violent protests in Catalonia due to the arrest of rapper Pablo Hasel and the unrest generated by the COVID-19 crisis. This work allowed me to bring these significant events to a broader audience, fostering a sense of connection and understanding. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I covered the situation in Spain, producing daily reports for Télam (Argentina's national news agency) and TN channel.
In 2017, I directed a multimedia series for the agency Télam that includes reports focused on political conflicts in Europe, including topics such as the Catalan independence process, the situation in Hungary under Viktor Orban, a special on the terrorist attack in Manchester, UK, and a special on the rise of the extreme right in the Netherlands in the run-up to the elections of that year.
