About Me

A*r*n*e*k*v*c is a professional creative and storyteller based in Beijing, China since 2011. After spending a year studying at Peking University, he has spent more than a decade trying to capture its essence through photos and film.

With a focus on cross cultural communication, Aaron has not only traveled extensively across the country to document the beauty and development, but has worked closely with international companies, embassies, and Chinese multinationals, to share their stories across the world. 

In addition to being recognized as “Beijing- Based Photographer of the Year” in 2024 by That’s Beijing Magazine, Aaron’s portfolio covers a wide range of subjects and elements. Some of the highlights include the G20 in Hangzhou and more than 15 presidential delegations, Xbox on the Great Wall, Tommy Hilfiger’s Fashion show in Shanghai, London Fashion Week, traversing the Yunnan highlands with BMW, and the Iron Man 3 Premier with Robert Downey Jr, and his works have also appeared in AFP, The New York Times, Al Jazeera, Vice, Xinhua, China Daily, CNN, Forbes, Buzzfeed, The Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, and more, as well as having exhibited photos at the Beijing Photo Week 2017, and the British and Belgian Embassies in Beijing.
